  21. MAKE AND USE A BACKUP COPY OF THE MASTER DISKS BEFORE YOU COMMENCE
  22. INSTALLATION! USE DISKCOPY (See your DOS Manual for further information)

  27.        Just unzip files into a single directory. As you will probably
  28.        already know, AUTOM.EXE is a self extracting file.

  30. 2]     Purchased Versions

  32.        Place disk 1 in any local drive.

  34.        Type        A:INSTALL   or   B:INSTALL
  35.  
  36.        Follow instructions on screen and in manual for further information.

  56. A manual is contained in the file AUTOMAN.LST. Print this to a printer with
  57. the command,
  58.       COPY  AUTOMAN.LST  LPT1
  59.       Where LPT1 is your local printer port
  60.

  62. Installation directory
  63. ======================
  64. We suggest you install the software into \BIN\AUTOMAN  
  65.  
  66. Placing various program files behind this \BIN directory may enable you to keep
  67. your root directory more tidy, while giving an insignificant reduction in
  68. performance.

  70. Once installed the files can simply be copied to another directory if they
  71. are required to be moved at a later date.

  76. Once installed, Type AUTOMAN to start the program.

  80. After an initial information page, you will then be given the option to run the
  81. AutoMan tutorial, provided this is a fresh installation. [See manual for
  82. further details].

  85. DO NOT EDIT THE PARAMETER FILE!

  87. The inbuilt edit functions MUST be used to edit the parameter file. Editing 
  88. the parameter file with a text editor may corrupt the configuration.
